YAJIRI（やじり）は、日本を拠点とする現代美術家です。
名は「鏃（やじり）」に由来し、静かに一点を射抜くような集中と、
研ぎ澄まされた感覚を大切に制作を続けています。

作品は、静けさ、微細な気配、そして空間そのものの存在を探求するものです。
日本的な「控えめな美」や「余白の感性」を背景に、
最小限の身振りや重ねられた質感の中に宿る、感情の深さを見つめています。

制作は、アナログのみで完結する作品、デジタルのみで構築する作品、
そして両者を行き来しながら融合させていく作品の三つのアプローチで行っています。
テクノロジーがもたらす精度と、手の動きが生む揺らぎや温度。
その両方を丁寧に重ね合わせることで、
素材がゆっくりと形を導き出す瞬間を大切にしています。

YAJIRI (pronounced “Yajiri”) is a contemporary artist based in Japan.
The name comes from the Japanese word for “arrowhead,” reflecting a quiet,
focused sensibility and a practice grounded in precision and attentive presence.

My work explores silence, subtle atmospheres, and the existence of space itself.
Rooted in a Japanese sensibility of restraint and the beauty of emptiness,
I seek the emotional depth that emerges from minimal gestures and layered surfaces.

My process includes analog-only works, digital-only compositions,
and pieces that merge both approaches.
I value the precision offered by digital technology as much as the warmth,
irregularity, and tactile nuance that arise from handwork.
By allowing these methods to intersect, I let the materials guide the form
as it slowly reveals itself.
