《The Map of the Unknown（未知の地図）》は、“ここではないどこか”への憧れをテーマにしたアート作品です。
眠りの中で何度も現れるのに、目覚めると跡形もなく消えてしまう—— その曖昧で儚い「夢の地図」を、消えかけた線と凹凸のある絵肌で表現しています。アスファルトのような質感は、記憶の奥に残る微かな痕跡を思わせ、鑑賞者に“辿れない場所”を静かに想像させます。
光の当たり方や角度によって表情が変わり、空間に深い静けさと余白をもたらす作品です。

“The Map of the Unknown” is a conceptual artwork inspired by a longing for “somewhere that is not here.”
It depicts a dreamlike map—one that appears repeatedly in sleep yet disappears completely upon waking. Fading lines and textured surfaces express this fragile landscape that exists between dream and reality. The asphalt-like texture evokes faint traces of forgotten places, inviting viewers to imagine a destination that cannot be reached.
Its surface reveals different expressions depending on the light and angle, bringing quiet depth and atmosphere to any space.
