《Quattro forme — No.00 Variant》 Melted Blocks / Fragmented Memory は、人が体験を“ひとつの四角い断片”として心に持ち帰るという感覚から生まれた「Quattro forme」シリーズの原点となる作品です。私たちは日常の記憶や言葉にならない感覚さえも、 無意識に四角いフレームとして保存しています。本作は、その四角い感覚が溶け、崩れ、重なり、再び形を取り戻そうとする瞬間を捉えています。ブロックが崩れながら再構築されていく造形は、“多数の異なる四角い感覚たち”が混ざり合い、記憶が更新されていくプロセスそのものを象徴しています。四角という最小のフレームの中に、記憶・感情・気配といった曖昧な層が静かに重なり合う。作品の前に立つと、自分の中に眠っていた“もうひとつの四角い感覚”がそっと立ち上がるような体験が生まれます。

“Quattro forme — No.00 Variant Melted Blocks / Fragmented Memory” serves as the conceptual origin of the “Quattro forme” series, which is based on the idea that we carry experiences as “square fragments” within our minds. We unconsciously frame not only visual memories but also subtle, wordless sensations as square impressions. This piece captures the moment when those fragments melt, collapse, overlap, and quietly rebuild themselves. The shifting block-like forms represent many different square sensations merging and transforming— a metaphor for how our memories continually reshape their meaning. Within the minimal square frame lie layers of memory, emotion, and subtle presence. Standing before the work invites viewers to rediscover a quiet, square-shaped sensation resting within themselves.
